Favorite Lake: El Capitan Reservoir

Personal Biggest Bass: 11-12, Lower Otay Lake

Favorite Phenix Lure: Pro-Line ½-ounce tandem willow spinnerbait

How I fish it: Slow roll if the fish will commit; otherwise a hard 3-4 crank and stop retrieve has saved me several times.

JT Bagwell (National Pro-Team) – Geneseo, Il

Favorite Lake: Lake Fork, Texas

Personal Biggest Bass: 9 lbs.

Favorite Phenix Lure: ProLine Deep Water Spinnerbait 1 oz.

How I fish it: It is so versatile that I will use it to slow roll along laydowns and other shoreline cover but then move out to deep water and fish ledges and humps with it. It’s a bait that I think gets overlooked in this current era of “way too many lure choices”

Allen E Armour (National Pro-Team) – Alanta, GA

Personal Biggest Bass:  11.28 Largemouth (5/8 oz. Flipping Jig), 8.73 lb. Smallmouth

How I fish it:   I love to skip these jigs under boat docks, willow tress, blowdowns.  My favorite technique is to swim the jig just below the surface as fast as the fish will let me.

Personal Biggest Bass: 8.5 lb. Largemouth

Favorite Phenix Lure: Phenix Pro-Series Spinnerbait 3/8. oz.

How I fish it: I like to Slow roll it through hydrilla, lilly pads, or any shoreline/point with structure. I make sure I’m letting it bump and deflect against cover to ensure aggressive strikes and get the best vibration and action from the lure. If I’m fishing deep water structure I do the same, but I let it fall to the bottom and slowly reel it back.
